Job summary

IZI South Africa in Kempton Park seeks a Branch Security Officer (Senior/Management level) to support the Branch Manager in maintaining effective branch security and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in enforcing policy, adopting best practices, and exercising sound judgement to achieve organisational goals. Security plays a key role in the business unit.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Matric or equivalent; Driver Licence; PSIRA Grade B with CIT.
• Firearm competency in Handgun and Shotgun; clean credit and criminal record.
• Not registered as a director of any business.

Responsibilities

• Establish security policies and enforce policies to protect assets and staff.
• Manage security personnel and daily security operations.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations and standards.
• Investigate theft, vandalism and security breaches.
• Communicate policies to employees, customers and suppliers.
• Handle emergency responses to breaches and crises.
• Conduct audits and assessments of security procedures and systems.
