Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Blockchain Engineer to join their Randburg team. You will design, develop, and deploy blockchain solutions, help shape architecture, and ensure secure, scalable systems in a challenging crypto environment.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to high-impact projects using Solidity, Go, Rust, and Python.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience as a Blockchain Engineer.
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to blockchain development (e.g., Solidity, Go, Rust, Python).
• Deep understanding of blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and cryptography.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable dApps and smart contracts.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and database technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of robust blockchain platforms and applications.
• Write high-quality, efficient, and secure smart contracts and backend code.
• Optimize blockchain networks for performance, scalability, and security.
