Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative Blockchain Developer to join its Midrand team. You will design, develop, and deploy smart contracts and dApps, integrating blockchain with enterprise systems.

We expect strong proficiency in Solidity, Go, Rust, or C++, with hands-on experience on Ethereum, BSC, or Polygon, and familiarity with DeFi and NFTs. A hybrid work model and health benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of blockchain principles, cryptography, and distributed ledger technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Go, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Polygon.
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts on various blockchain platforms using languages like Solidity.
• Architect and build decentralized applications (dApps) and their backends.
• Integrate blockchain technologies with existing enterprise systems and applications.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and testing to ensure security and efficiency of blockchain solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define blockchain product roadmaps and features.
