Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Quality Assurance Manager in Kimberley, Northern Cape. You will lead a QA team, ensure IATF 16949 compliance, and drive CAPA and continuous improvement across suppliers, R&D, production, and supply chain.

The role requires a strong background in automotive quality management, leadership ability, and proficiency with quality tools and QMS software. A competitive package awaits in a collaborative Kimberley environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in Quality Assurance/Management, automotive experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality frameworks.
• Proven experience developing and implementing Quality Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of SPC and quality tools.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA and 8D problem-solving.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) per automotive standards.
• Oversee incoming material, in-process and final product inspections.
• Lead and mentor the QA team, drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate internal audits and support external audits by customers/cert bodies.
• Manage CAPA processes for customer complaints and non-conformances.
• Analyze quality data and trends to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production and Supply Chain to embed quality.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures and work instructions.
• Manage supplier quality incl. supplier audits and performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
