Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Senior Automotive Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality initiatives at the Paarl, Western Cape facility. You will develop, implement, and oversee the QMS, drive continuous improvement, and lead QA teams to ensure ISO/IATF compliance and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring extensive automotive QA experience, Six Sigma/Lean expertise, and strong leadership with a data-driven approach to root-cause analysis and preventive actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance or quality management, with automotive industry focus.
• Proven experience in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 certified QMS.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, SPC, and 8D.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Experience with auditing and compliance verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the automotive quality management system (QMS).
• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
• Establish quality control procedures and standards across production stages.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement CAPA.
