Job summary

Interpath, an international advisory firm, seeks a Senior Associate for its Cape Town Transaction Services team to deliver financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side engagements.

You will own the financial analysis, work across deal lifecycles, and interact with colleagues across M&A, Value Creation and Debt Advisory, while developing in a high-growth, startup-like team within an established firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 3–5 years in financial due diligence or deal-exposed audit.
• Advanced Excel skills and high accuracy under deadline.
• Experience with UK/European reporting conventions.
• Big Four background; CFA Level I progress.
• Proficiency with Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Build underlying financial analysis for due diligence conclusions.
• Prepare working capital, net debt schedules.
• Reconcile analysis to source records.
• Create tables and charts for the report.
• Manage information request list and flag gaps.
• Assist with management meetings and Q&A process.
• Address review points and root causes.
