Job summary

Interpath in Cape Town is seeking an Associate Manager to join our newly launched Transaction Services team. You will deliver buy-side and sell-side due diligence projects for top-tier clients, working closely with M&A, Value Creation and Debt Advisory colleagues.

Qualified accountants with 5–7 years post-qualification and strong QoE, net debt and working capital analysis experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CA/CPA designation or equivalent.
• 5–7 years post-qualification experience, including at least 3 in financial due diligence.
• Strong QoE, net debt and working capital analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of defined areas of analysis within a workstream and see them through to a reviewable standard.
• Build and maintain the supporting analysis pack, reconciled to source records.
• Draft report sections and exhibits for Manager review.
• Review the work of Senior Associates for accuracy before submission.
• Maintain the information request tracker and follow up on outstanding items.
• Prepare material for management meetings and record outcomes.
• Raise issues promptly; a unexplained anomaly is a finding.
