Job summary

Interpath Advisory seeks an Associate Manager for its Cape Town Transaction Services team, delivering buy-side and sell-side projects for top-tier clients. You will work with M&A, Value Creation and Debt Advisory colleagues, benefiting from training, mentoring and global collaboration.

You will own defined analysis areas, build auditable packs, and deliver high-quality reports under deadlines, with strong English communication throughout.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with global or cross-border deal experience.
• At least 3 years in financial due diligence within 5–7 years post-qualification.
• Strong command of earnings quality, net debt and working capital analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills to build auditable analyses from complex data.

Responsibilities

• Own defined analysis areas within a workstream and drive them to reviewable standards.
• Build and maintain analysis packs reconciled to source records.
• Draft report sections and exhibits for review by Managers.
• Review Senior Associates' work for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain information requests, log follow-ups, and tracker.
• Prepare materials for management meetings and document outcomes.
• Raise issues promptly; an unexplained anomaly is a finding.
