Job summary

Interpath is expanding its Transaction Services team in Cape Town to deliver high‑quality financial due diligence for buy‑ and sell‑side engagements. The Senior Associate will lead underlying financial analysis, coordinate schedules, and present findings to clients across a global deal network.

You will work with colleagues in M&A, Value Creation and Debt Advisory, applying strong English writing and analytical skills while developing cross-border deal experience and business development

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or finalist with CA/ACCA equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience, including 2 in financial due diligence or deal-exposed audit.
• Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail under time pressure.
• Understanding QoE analysis purpose, not just mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Build the financial analysis underpinning due diligence conclusions.
• Prepare working capital, net debt, and supporting schedules.
• Reconcile analysis with source records and trial balance.
• Prepare tables/charts to report standards and findings.
• Maintain information requests and highlight missing items.
• Support Q&A and management meeting prep.
