Job summary

Android Jobs is seeking an experienced Senior Android Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and optimise applications for custom Android devices used in Point of Sale and payments. You will contribute to architecture, support CI/CD, and ensure software quality throughout the lifecycle.

You will mentor developers, collaborate with Product, QA, Engineering, and Operations, and drive performance improvements, offline data handling, and robust testing with Espresso/JUnit in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Android development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Kotlin development and Android SDK.
• Experience developing for custom Android devices and integrating backend services.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Espresso and JUnit).
• Familiarity with Android architecture, design patterns, and modern tooling.

Responsibilities
