Placements24 is seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist for a fully remote position with a leading pharmaceutical R&D company. You will develop, validate, and execute analytical methods for drug substances and products, perform stability studies, and support GMP/ICH compliant workflows.

The role requires 5+ years in analytical chemistry within pharma/biotech, expert LC-MS/HPLC/GC-MS skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in analytical chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in pharma/biotech analytics.
• Strong method development and validation under ICH/GMP.
• Proficient with HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and execute analytical methods for drug substances/products.
• Perform routine and non-routine analyses to meet specifications.
• Conduct stability studies and analyze data for shelf-life; propose storage conditions.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and methods; implement corrective actions.
• Prepare validation reports, SOPs, and regulatory submission documents.
• Ensure GMP compliance and quality systems alignment; document findings.
• Collaborate with formulation, process, and QA teams globally.
• Mentor junior analysts and oversee instrument calibration and qualification.
