Placements24 is seeking a Senior Chemical Process Analyst to join our client’s team in a fully remote role. You will analyze large chemical-process datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency, quality, and safety across operations.

With a strong background in chemical engineering or statistics, you will develop SPC methodologies, create dashboards, and collaborate virtually with engineering and operations to drive data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in process analysis, data science, or similar role within the chemical industry.
• Proficiency in Minitab, R, Python and data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of chemical processes and engineering principles.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality analysis in a remote environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from chemical processes.
• Develop and implement statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
• Identify root causes of process variations and recommend corrective actions.
• Create dashboards and reports to visualize process performance and trends.
• Collaborate virtually with engineering and operations teams to implement data-driven improvements.
• Provide expert guidance on data analysis techniques and best practices for chemical engineering applications.
