About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Analytical Chemist to oversee quality control operations in Paarl . This position is essential for ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical products through rigorous analytical testing. You will be responsible for developing, validating, and implementing analytical methods, leading a team of analytical chemists, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and KF.
• Perform routine testing of samples and interpret results to ensure they meet predefined specifications.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs).
• Lead and mentor junior analytical chemists, providing technical guidance and training.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines, including GMP, ICH, and pharmacopoeial standards.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, manage instrument calibration, and oversee laboratory documentation.

Requirements
