Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead critical software development initiatives in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. This hybrid role requires guiding cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in project management for software and a strong Agile background, with excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in project management within software development.
• Proven ability to deliver complex software projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple software development projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Develop project plans with defined scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies and ensure continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Communicate status and decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
• Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the lifecycle.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Monitor progress against KPIs and adjust as needed.
• Drive process improvements across PM workflows.
