Job summary

Execo in Cape Town, SA, seeks an experienced Sales Development Leader to coach a high-performing SDR team that books qualified meetings for global clients. The role blends traditional outbound with AI-driven strategies and requires hands-on leadership across coaching, playbook design, and pipeline execution.

You will own client relationships, run weekly reviews, and push adoption of CRM and AI tools. Expect US-hours work with potential evening shifts.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience directly managing SDR/BDR teams in a B2B SaaS environment with a quota track record.
Experience running outbound into the US market with understanding of US buyers and sales norms.
Experience selling into or managing teams across multiple regions/time zones; essential.

Responsibilities

Lead and Coach a team of SDRs through call reviews, shadowing, role-plays, and 1-on-1s with actionable feedback.
Build and optimize multi-channel outreach sequences across email, phone, and social.
Define ICP and target accounts with qualification criteria; ensure meetings meet standards and are handed off to Account Executives.
Track KPIs and forecast results; improve efficiency.
Manage client relationships with weekly check-ins and quarterly business reviews.
Standardize best practices and drive adoption of CRM, sales-engagement platforms, and AI tools.
Onboard new hires with ramp milestones and certifications.
Promote SDRs to higher roles and partner with Talent to hire.
