Job summary

ABC Security in Stellenbosch is seeking a hands-on Salesperson to identify new business, visit clients, and present tailored security solutions including alarm systems, CCTV and access control. You will prepare quotations, manage the sales pipeline, and strive to meet sales targets while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

You will coordinate with technical and operations teams for installations, provide product information and after-sales support, and represent ABC Security

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales, preferably security services or related tech.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to present solutions, handle objections, close deals in a competitive market.
• Basic understanding of alarm systems, CCTV and access control.
• Organized with time management; manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
• On-site role with travel within Boland; engage with clients in person.
• Proficient in email, spreadsheets, and CRM/sales tools.
• Matric or equivalent; sales/security training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Committed to ethical conduct and client satisfaction.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Stellenbosch. The Salesperson will identify and pursue new business opportunities, conduct client visits, and present tailored security solutions, including alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and response services. Responsibilities include preparing quotations, following up on leads, managing the sales pipeline, and meeting sales targets. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, coordinating with technical and operations teams to ensure accurate installations, and providing product information and after-sales support. The Salesperson will be expected to represent ABC Security professionally, participate in occasional after-hours client meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field sales, preferably in security services or related technical products.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
• Confidence in presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing deals in a competitive marketplace.
• Basic understanding of alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and security industry terminology, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
• Comfortable working on-site, traveling within the Boland region, and engaging with clients in person.
• Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and CRM or sales tracking tools to document and manage sales activities.
• Matric or equivalent qualification; additional training in sales, marketing, or security technology is an advantage.
