Job summary

Optimal Growth Technologies seeks a Salesforce Business Analyst to join the technology team. You will translate business needs into Salesforce solutions, manage requirements, and collaborate with admins, developers, and QA to ensure delivery.

You will lead workshops, refine the product backlog, and support UAT while identifying opportunities to optimize processes via Salesforce. A 12‑month EST-aligned engagement is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within Salesforce environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, business processes, and platform functionality.
• Proven experience gathering and translating business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud is highly advantageous.
• Experience creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with business process mapping and process optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder-management across multiple organizational levels.
• Experience supporting UAT and software implementation projects.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into practical technology solutions.

Salesforce Business Analyst

Duration: 12 Months (EST Time-zone)

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to join our technology team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce business analysis, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, requirements management, stakeholder engagement, and translating business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, challenges, and requirements.
• Gather, analyse, document, and validate functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear Salesforce functional requirements and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, discovery sessions, and requirements-gathering meetings.
• Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation using Salesforce.
• Create process flows, business process documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Work closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects, QA teams, and Project Managers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and successfully delivered.
• Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog in collaboration with business stakeholders and Product Owners.
• Support solution design by providing business and functional insights.
• Review proposed Salesforce solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver the intended outcomes.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test-case development, defect management, and business-user coordination.
• Validate delivered functionality against agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify gaps between current and future-state processes and recommend appropriate Salesforce solutions.
• Assist with Salesforce change-management and user-adoption activities.
• Maintain accurate requirements, process, and solution documentation.
• Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions, and potential impacts associated with proposed changes.
• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to maximize the value of the Salesforce platform.

Experience

• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within Salesforce environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, business processes, and platform functionality.
• Proven experience gathering and translating business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
• Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud is highly advantageous.
• Experience creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Demonstrated experience supporting UAT and software implementation projects.
• Strong stakeholder-management experience across different levels of an organization.
• Experience working on Salesforce transformation, implementation, enhancement, or migration projects.
• Ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into practical technology solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in: Business Analysis, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or a related field is (Essential)
