Job summary

Optimal Growth Technologies seeks an experienced Salesforce Consultant to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. You will lead implementations, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure best practices across configuration, automation, and integrations.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in Salesforce consulting, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently within Agile/Scrum teams. This is a 12-month contract based in Durban, South Africa.

Salesforce Consultant

Contract Durations: 12 months (EST Time-zone)

Our Technology Team is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Salesforce Consultant with demonstrated experience in Salesforce consulting and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce solutions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and effective Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
• Lead and support Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and technical teams.
• Configure Salesforce applications based on business and functional requirements.
• Provide guidance on Salesforce best practices, solution design, and platform capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through Salesforce automation and optimization.
• Support integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation, including requirements and solution designs.
• Conduct user training, demonstrations, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions to business and technical challenges.
• Ensure Salesforce solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce consulting, implementation, or solution delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform.
• Excellent understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and best practices.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
• Knowledge of Salesforce automation, workflows, Flow, reports, and dashboards.
• Understanding of Salesforce integrations and APIs.
• Experience working with Salesforce development teams and technologies such as Apex and Lightning.
• Strong understanding of data migration and data quality practices.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, or Sales Cloud Consultant (Highly Desirable)
