Uptick in Durban is seeking a Sales Research Analyst to join our global sales team. You will proactively connect with and prospect Fire & Security businesses, helping to build a scalable outbound pipeline in a fast-paced startup environment.

This role offers hybrid work (3 days in the Durban office), a friendly, collaborative culture, and a personal development budget to help you grow. Experience in outbound prospecting and a willingness to learn are key to success.

Formación

• Ability to source and qualify new contacts and drive outbound prospecting.

Responsabilidades

• Source new contacts for existing accounts and qualify tier 2 contacts using Sales Toolkit.
• Qualify accounts and gain buying signals through emails, cold calling and social media.
• Manage opportunities in the sales funnel and keep CRM data accurate.
• Provide insights on value proposition based on outbound activity.

The Role

We’re searching for a Sales Research Analyst to be a foundational member of our Global sales team. Uptick is the #1 asset maintenance software choice in Australia and launched into the UK market in 2021. You’ll spend your time proactively connecting with and prospecting businesses in the Fire & Security industry.

What you’ll need to do

• Source new contacts for existing accounts and qualify tier 2 contacts using Sales Toolkit (Lusha, LinkedIn, Facebook etc)
• Help SDRs gain buying signals from companies by qualifying accounts (emails, cold calling and social media) ensuring daily targets are met.
• Working through qualified out leads to ensure we are on top of all opportunities in the sales funnel
• Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline and deal statuses using a variety of tools (e.g. Hubspot).
• Provide insights and feedback into value proposition and commercial positioning of the product following outbound activity.

Experience required

• Fire & security industry experience a plus but not a pre-requisite
• Experience in chasing new leads, getting on the phone cold calling and booking new meetings.
