Job summary

HC Recruit is seeking a Sales Representative (Spares) in Midrand to drive sales and build lasting customer relationships while handling stock, suppliers, pricing and product supply for efficient operations.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, organised attitude and the ability to cross-sell and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Supply Chain or related field would be advantageous.
• Computer literacy, particularly MS Office and Pastel.
• Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations, convert sales and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct market research, assess product demand and manage pricing to support sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and customer relationships while managing stock, suppliers, pricing and product supply to ensure efficient business operations.
• Forecast stock requirements, monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts and manage replenishment and inter-branch transfers.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, manage purchase orders and coordinate supplier processes.
• Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations, convert sales and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct market research, assess product demand and manage pricing to support sales and profitability.
• Promote additional products through cross-selling.
