Job summary

Status Staffing in South Africa is recruiting for a permanent role within the signage sector, combining sales and project management. You will generate new business, manage client meetings, and drive projects from quotation through installation, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has five years in signage, strong communication, and the ability to read technical drawings, with proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM tools. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' proven experience in the signage industry (essential).
• Proven experience in both sales and project management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and understand signage manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and CRM systems will be advantageous.
• Valid driver's license, with a reliable vehicle and mobile phone.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and build strong, lasting client relationships.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Conduct client meetings and site visits to gather project requirements.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Manage signage projects from order confirmation through to final installation.
• Liaise with clients, designers, production, procurement, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Resolve client queries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and project documentation.
