Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential retail customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share for our client's products.
• Present and sell products to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits.
• Ensure optimal product placement and visibility within retail outlets.
• Provide exceptional customer service and after-sales support.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and report on activities to the Sales Manager.
• Manage inventory and stock levels at customer premises as required.
• Stay informed about competitor activities and market dynamics in the Stellenbosch area.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional activities and drive brand awareness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the FMCG industry .
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Excellent understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Knowledge of the retail landscape in the Western Cape region.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport are essential.
