Job summary

Managed People Solutions Pty in South Africa seeks a proactive Sales and Merchandising Assistant for a 12-month full-time internship in Plettenberg Bay, starting 1 November 2026. You will learn on the job, support merchandisers and reps, and gain hands-on experience in sales and customer service.

The programme offers a monthly stipend from R4,500, with qualification-based variation, and a focus on developing communication, teamwork, and industry knowledge during the peak December season.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Interest in sales, merchandising and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Travel with Sales Representatives on daily routes as part of a ride-along team.
• Support sales activities and contribute towards sales targets.
• Merchandise products and keep shelves neat and eye-catching.
• Assist customers and build positive relationships.
• Learn about sales, merchandising and in-store promotions.
• Work with the team to achieve sales and merchandising objectives.
