Job summary

Managed People Solutions Pty is offering a 12-month full-time internship as a Sales and Merchandising Assistant in Johannesburg. You will earn a monthly stipend and gain hands-on experience in sales, merchandising and customer service while learning on the job.

You will ride along with Sales Representatives, support promotional activities and help build customer relationships. Start date is 1 November 2026, with a monthly stipend starting from R4,500 depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude, responsibility and teamwork
• Willingness to learn and participate in a 12-month internship

Responsibilities

• Travel with Sales Representatives on daily routes as part of a ride-along team.
• Support sales activities and contribute toward achieving sales targets.
• Merchandise products and ensure shelves and displays are neat, well-stocked and eye-catching.
• Assist customers and help build positive customer relationships.
• Gain practical knowledge of sales, merchandising and in-store promotions.
• Work as part of a team to achieve sales and merchandising objectives.
