Job summary

Managed People Solutions Pty is offering a 12-month full-time internship in Amanzimtoti, KwaZulu-Natal for a Sales and Merchandising Assistant. You will travel with Sales Representatives, support sales targets, merchandise shelves and assist customers, gaining practical skills in sales, merchandising and in-store promotions.

The programme provides hands-on experience, opportunities to develop communication and teamwork, and a monthly stipend starting from R4,500. Start date 1 November 2026.

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude, honesty and a strong sense of responsibility.
• A willingness to learn, take initiative and work as part of a team.
• A passion for sales, customer service and merchandising.
• A strong commitment to completing the full 12-month programme on a full-time basis.
• Availability to work throughout the peak season in December, including the festive season.

Responsibilities

• Travel with Sales Representatives on daily routes as part of a ride-along team.
• Support sales activities and contribute towards achieving sales targets.
• Merchandise products and ensure shelves and displays are neat, stocked and eye-catching.
• Assist customers and help build positive customer relationships.
• Gain practical knowledge of sales, merchandising and in-store promotions.
• Work as part of a team to achieve sales and merchandising objectives.
