Job summary

Managed People Solutions Pty in Bloemfontein is offering a 12-month full-time internship position as a Sales and Merchandising Assistant. You will gain hands-on experience in sales, merchandising and customer service while earning a monthly stipend.

The programme starts 1 November 2026 and the stipend begins at R4,500, dependent on your qualification. You will learn from experienced sales representatives and merchandisers, building practical skills to help you advance your career in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, honesty and responsibility.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative and work as part of a team.
• Passion for sales, customer service and merchandising.
• Commitment to complete the 12-month programme on a full-time basis.
• Availability during December peak season.

Responsibilities

• Travel with Sales Representatives on daily routes as part of a ride-along team.
• Support sales activities and contribute towards achieving sales targets.
• Merchandise products and ensure shelves and displays are neat and well-stocked.
• Assist customers and help build positive customer relationships.
• Gain practical knowledge of sales, merchandising and in-store promotions.
• Work as part of a team to achieve sales and merchandising objectives.
