My client in Boksburg is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead their commercial sales activities while actively developing new business opportunities within the South African and Sub-Saharan African markets.
Minimum requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial or similar).
• Technical or commercial qualifications related to engineering or steel.
• Minimum 10 years' experience within the steel industry.
• Proven sales management experience.
• Demonstrated success in growing sales and developing new markets.
• Strong business development background.
• Comprehensive understanding of steel products and their applications.
• Experience selling carbon steel plate products.
• Experience with Quenched & Tempered steels (highly advantageous).
• Good understanding of fabrication processes.
• Understanding of welding, machining, cutting and forming processes.
