Job summary

University of Fort Hare in Cape Town is seeking a Sales Executive – Office Automation to drive new business and expand existing accounts. The role focuses on selling technical products and solutions, building lasting customer relationships, and hitting sales targets from the Western Cape region.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of outbound sales experience, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and is comfortable working independently with travel across provinces.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• 3–5 years' outbound business development and/or sales experience.
• Experience in office automation, scanners, packaging equipment, or a technical product environment advantageous.
• Strong sales, negotiation, prospecting, and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong customer relationship and territory management skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Good technical aptitude with the ability to learn new products and technologies quickly.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel to various provinces.
