CIRO, the Coffee Importers and Roasters Organisation, invites applications for a Sales Consultant Level 1 based in Bryanston, Gauteng. You will report to the Sales Manager and drive monthly sales, client relationships and on-site beverage solution delivery.

Required are Matric, a related business certificate/diploma, 2+ years’ sales experience in the OOH market, and a valid driver’s license. Coffee skills and MS Office proficiency are expected, with a focus on delivering value to customers.

• 2–3 years of customer interaction experience.
• 2–3 years in a Sales role in the OOH market.
• Strong beverage system solution experience.
• Basic commercial understanding.

Responsabilités

• Achieve monthly sales, volumes and margin targets.
• Maintain superior service relationships with existing customers.
• Influence In Cup Quality and delivery via on-site beverage solution system; calibrate machines and provide on-site training.
• Create a targeted prospect list with the Sales Manager.
• Meet growth forecasts for the fiscal year.
• Complete new business development steps: initial contact, needs assessment, tailored proposal, implementation guidance.
• Ensure agreements with target list are commercially sound.
• Present at installations and provide customer solutions training on installation day.
• Track performance monthly with 1-to-1 meetings and structured target tracking.
• Conduct value-added training visits and build credible coffee relationships.
• Ensure In-Cup coffee quality meets agreed standards.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Sales Consultant Level 1, to be based in Bryanston, Gauteng. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager.

Key Performance Areas

• Achievement of monthly sales, volumes, and margin targets.
• Superior customer service relationships of existing customer base by following a structured call cycle based on the regional customer set criteria.
• Influencing and positively affect the In Cup Quality and delivery via the On-site beverage Solution system at each customer by ensuring customer audits are completed and corrective action is immediately executed on site, by doing machine calibration and settings and or re doing operational Training.
• Create a targeted customer prospect list with the Sales Manager based on volume requirements per product category for the year and strategic requirements across all channels.
• Achieve the agreed growth forecasted for the fiscal year by the Sales Manager.
• Completion of new business development:
  • Initial contact
  • Assessment of needs
  • Proposal of tailored solution
  • Guiding on implementation, if necessary, with the prospective customer.
• Ensure that agreements concluded with target list are commercially sound.
• Present at each installation and complete customer solutions training on day of installation.
• Measurement will be completed in the following manner:
  • Monthly 1 on 1
  • Structured tracking against target list
• Value added training visits and building credible coffee relationships.
• Ensure the In-Cup quality of the coffee is of the agreed standards.

Qualifications And Experience

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Relevant Business Certificate or Diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience is essential.
• Sales experience.
• Coffee Skills and Equipment / Coffee qualification.
• 2-3 years - Customer interaction experience.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a Sales role in the OOH Market.
• Strong Beverage system solution experience.
• Basic Commercial Understanding.

Special Requirements

• Proficient using full MS Office suite.
• Interest in hospitality industry.
• Fully vaccinated against Covid.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years driving experience.
