Job summary

Boardroom Appointments Durban is seeking a Sales Consultant to act as the internal interface between the company and customers, building strong business relationships and delivering prompt, courteous responses to order, quotation, and delivery inquiries.

You will coordinate quotations and sales orders, ensure invoicing is timely, and support finance processes including credit facilities and revenue management, while helping to improve commercial efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in business management, finance, or related qualification.
• At least 3 years experience in a sales consultant or customer service role, with admin and high-volume office work.
• An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Proficient in understanding and managing the quote-to-cash process.
• Extensive experience in handling quotations and invoicing, preferably using SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Knowledgeable about Incoterms 2020.
• Knowledge of prepayment and revenue management products is advantageous / Electrical products

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of plans to improve commercial efficiency.
• Support the Customer Relationship Management system and other commercial processes.
• Compile and submit monthly reports to the Customer Excellence Manager and Business Managers
