Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Sales & Business Development Recruiter in Upington to identify and attract top sales talent for a diverse client base. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for sales roles, leveraging market intelligence and strong sourcing strategies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in recruitment, with a proven sales placement track record, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS/CRM tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruitment experience with a strong focus on sales/business development roles.
• Proven success in sourcing and placing candidates in high-performing sales positions.
• Solid understanding of sales cycles, CRM systems, and business development strategies.
• Excellent sourcing skills and proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other networking platforms.
• Strong interviewing, assessment, and negotiation abilities, especially for variable compensation.
• Outstanding communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and thrive in a target-driven environment.
• Familiarity with the Northern Cape region is beneficial.
• Motivated, proactive, results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for sales and business development roles across industries.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for roles such as Sales Representatives, Key Account Managers, and BD Managers.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify top sales talent.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding targets and team structures.
• Provide market intelligence on talent availability and compensation trends.
• Conduct thorough assessments focusing on sales skills and negotiation abilities.
• Negotiate complex compensation packages including base and incentives.
• Stay updated on evolving sales techniques and digital selling tools.
• Network actively within sales communities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity in ATS.
