Job summary

BettingJobs is seeking a Withdrawal & Verification Specialist for its South African operations. You will manage withdrawals, KYC/AML checks and risk controls to protect customers and the business.

The role bridges compliance, payments and customer service to ensure accurate, timely payouts. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, experience with withdrawal processing, KYC/AML and familiarity with SA FICA requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in iGaming, fintech, banking or regulated financial services.
• Hands-on experience with withdrawals, payments, KYC, AML or fraud prevention.
• Solid understanding of South African FICA and AML requirements.
• Experience with SumSub verification and SoftSwiss Backoffice tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess risk holistically.

Responsibilities

• Process withdrawal requests accurately and within SLA, validating details and docs.
• Investigate withdrawal delays or disputes with internal teams and providers.
• Conduct customer verification in line with FICA, AML and responsible gambling.
• Apply due diligence where required, keeping records audit-ready.
• Identify and escalate suspicious activity, AML concerns or fraud.
• Maintain knowledge of SA gambling law and contribute to risk controls.
• Balance compliance with a customer-centric approach with support teams.
• Act as backup to Customer Support via chat and email during peaks.
• Maintain records and contribute to reporting on volumes and risks.
• Identify process gaps and propose efficiency improvements.
