Job summary

United Exports in Paarl, Western Cape seeks a highly organized Road Freight Administrator to support our Logistics team in a fast-paced fruit export environment.

The role focuses on coordination with transporters, data accuracy across ERP/export systems, and efficient cost administration. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented team players with strong MS Office skills and a pro-active mindset.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent with strong admin fundamentals.
• Experience with ERP/export systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with transporters and loading points to confirm schedules, readiness, and progress.
• Provide accurate and timely updates to packhouses, farms, and third-party loading/offloading facilities.
• Identify operational concerns and escalate high-risk issues to stakeholders.
• Capture POD documentation accurately and file timely; process system transactions completely.
• Maintain up-to-date information across ERP and export systems.
• Create purchase orders using approved rates with complete documentation.
• Perform general road freight administration tasks and maintain audit-ready records.
