Job summary

Staff Unlimited Recruitment is seeking a diligent logistics professional based in Gqeberha with at least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, customs, shipping, imports/exports or related logistics roles.

You will manage import/export processes and customs documentation, coordinate sea and airfreight operations, monitor multiple shipments and deadlines, and liaise with clients, agents, shipping lines and service providers while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in the freight forwarding, customs, shipping, imports/ exports or logistics industry.
• Practical experience with import and export processes and customs documentation.
• Good understanding of sea and airfreight operations.
• Experience coordinating container movements, transport and depot activities.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to monitor multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, agents, shipping lines and service providers.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Experience with ShipShape and Navis would be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant customs, trade and exchange-control requirements would be beneficial.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• A strong compliance mindset and commitment to company processes and quality standards.
