Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited in Secunda invites applications for a Trainee Manager to learn all aspects of store operations under the guidance of an experienced store manager. The role covers stock control, sales floor management, POS, customer service and HR process support within a busy FMCG environment.

You will develop skills in inventory, promotions, cash handling and reporting while working retail hours and complying with company policies.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in store retail management disciplines including stock management, cash, reporting and customer service.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Willing to work retail hours and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock levels and inventory processes daily.
• Assist with planning and execution of promotions and displays on the sales floor.
• Support POS operations, cash reconciliation, and store expenses within budget.
