About the Role

Our client, a prestigious international hotel located in Pretoria, Gauteng , is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Revenue Manager . This crucial role is responsible for maximizing revenue and optimizing profits through effective pricing, inventory management, and forecasting strategies across all revenue streams. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement optimal pricing and inventory management strategies across all distribution channels.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly revenue forecasts, analyzing historical data and market trends.
• Monitor competitor pricing and market intelligence to identify opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align revenue strategies with business goals.
• Manage room inventory and maintain optimal occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
• Analyze performance data and provide regular reports with actionable insights to senior management.
• Oversee and manage relationships with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and other distribution partners.
• Implement and maintain revenue management systems and tools to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue per guest.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging revenue management techniques.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in revenue management, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing revenue-generating strategies and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in revenue management software (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto) and MS Excel.
• Excellent understanding of hotel operations, market segmentation, and distribution channels.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to stakeholders.
• A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in the Pretoria, Gauteng market is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
