Job summary

Pepkor Speciality in South Africa is seeking a Store Supervisor to assist the Store Manager in maximizing profits through sales growth, stock management and cost control. The role requires hands-on leadership and a proactive approach to daily operations.

You will be responsible for delivering strong customer service, ensuring accurate till operations, maintaining stockroom standards and collaborating with the team to meet store budgets and policies in a busy shopping centre environment.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years retail experience as a Shop Assistant.
• Computer literate and proficient with POS systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Further qualifications in retail/business are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager to achieve sales budgets and maximise profits.
• Support merchandise planning and stock loss control.
• Provide financial support and execute store initiatives.
• Handle administrative tasks and store management duties.
• Provide information support to the team.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with HR-related tasks as needed.
