Job summary

Mr Price Group Limited in South Africa seeks a Store Supervisor to assist the store manager in running daily operations, ensuring targets and customer service standards are met and exceeded.

You will manage stock, monitor levels, and maintain the stockroom while driving sales through data analysis and feedback to support centre. Lead a team to achieve KPIs and foster development and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education is required.
• 2 to 3 years in a supervisory/assistant store management role.
• Knowledge of sales, service management and retail operations.
• Budgeting awareness and cost control responsibilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the store manager in daily operations to meet targets and service standards.
• Stock management: receive, unpack, merchandise and replenish floor stock.
• Monitor stock levels and mitigate stock loss through defined processes.
• Maintain stockroom housekeeping and authorize write-offs/returns.
• Analyze sales reports and collaborate on action plans to boost sales.
• Provide feedback on product performance to support centre.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness.
• Enforce compliance with policies and procedures.
• Lead and develop store teams to achieve KPIs and strategy.
• Recruit, coach and manage performance per company policy.
