Pepkor Speciality in South Africa is seeking a Store Manager responsible for day-to-day store operations, ensuring smooth and effective running of the shop. You will lead and motivate the sales team, implement store-specific strategies, and drive promotions while maintaining stock, housekeeping and customer service standards.

The role requires 3–5 years retail experience in a supervisory position, strong communication, planning, and a hands-on approach to inventory and VM.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years retail experience as Assistant Manager/Supervisor.
• Matric or equivalent is required.
• Further qualifications related to retail/business are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff.
• Managing staff and budgets (P&L, Payroll).
• Maintaining statistical and financial records (Daily, weekly and monthly administration).
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints.
• Overseeing pricing and stock control.
• Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so.
• Visual Merchandising & Housekeeping.
• Inventory Management (Stock Management).
• Ensure The Base equipment secured and accounted for.
• Be aware of health & safety rules.
• Understand The Base daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
• Produce a The Base specific action plan to minimize stock loss.
