Jobcrystal in Sandton is seeking a Retail Supervisor to support daily store operations and supervise sales floor activities, ensuring high levels of customer service.

The role bridges sales staff and management, providing guidance, motivation, and on-the-floor coaching to the team while helping to meet sales targets and uphold store standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for Sales Assistants during shifts.
• Allocate tasks and ensure they are completed according to daily priorities.
• Provide on-the-floor coaching, guidance, and feedback to team members.
• Support new staff with basic training in sales, customer service, and store procedures.
• Report any staffing issues, performance concerns, or training needs to the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager.
• 3. Inventory & Stock Support
• Assist with stock replenishment, floor moves, and product presentation.
• Participate in weekly stock counts and identify any stock discrepancies.
• Support shrinkage reduction by ensuring accurate stock handling.
• Assist with processing deliveries, tagging, and pricing stock as required.
