Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Store Manager in Randburg to lead store operations, drive sales and ensure excellent customer service. You will manage stock, staff, and administration while upholding brand standards and financial targets.

The role requires a degree or diploma in retail/finance management or related field, plus at least 2 years in a store management position within retail/FMCG. This permanent role reports to the Area Manager and offers market-related remuneration.

Qualifications

Essential: Grade 12 (Maths 50% and English 50%)
Essential: B. Degree or Diploma in retail / finance management, pharmacy or related (External applicants)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a store management role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment or successful completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme
Financial management experience (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios, etc.)

Responsibilities

To ensure the efficient operation of the store and service excellence by leading and directing the store operations team to meet sales, profit and compliance targets.
To drive and maximise sales, track daily, weekly and monthly targets and take corrective action as required.
To manage all operational activities of the store including expenses, stock management, shrinkage, housekeeping and administration.
To supervise in-store visual merchandising and ensure brand presentation and promotional standards are maintained.
To schedule staff effectively in line with labour policy and staffing models.
To execute customer service initiatives in store and drive customer loyalty and club card participation.
To build relationships with stakeholders (centre managers, suppliers, DCs) to achieve objectives.
