Placements24 is seeking a proactive Retail Operations Specialist to support operations across multiple locations, including Klerksdorp. You will optimize store processes, improve efficiency, and drive operational excellence by collaborating with store management and cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, experience in retail operations, and proficiency with Excel and retail software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in retail operations, store management, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with retail management software.
• Ability to travel to different store locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze store operational performance and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement standardized operating procedures for various retail functions.
• Support the rollout of new operational tools, technologies, and processes across the store network.
• Conduct store visits to assess operational compliance and provide on-site support and training.
• Manage inventory management systems and processes to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
• Liaise with supply chain and logistics partners to ensure efficient product flow to stores.
