Placements24 is seeking a Retail Operations Supervisor for our Pretoria store. The role focuses on back-end and operational aspects, ensuring the sales teams have support to deliver excellent customer service.

You’ll oversee inventory management, stock control, loss prevention, and compliance with standards. Ideal candidates will be proactive problem-solvers with strong retail logistics knowledge and a commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security procedures.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with POS and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels, conduct stocktakes, and oversee receiving and dispatch.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations within the store.
• Optimize store layout and organisation for efficient operations and stock management.
• Supervise and train operational staff, including stockroom personnel.
• Liaise with suppliers and manage relationships to ensure timely deliveries.
