Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Retail Department Manager to lead a key department in Sandton, Gauteng. You will maximise sales, control costs, and ensure operational excellence while managing a team of associates.

The role requires strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service. You will analyse sales data, optimise inventory, and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth and exceptional shopper experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels effectively, ensuring optimal stock availability and minimizing shrinkage.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

• Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance product presentation and appeal.
• Control departmental expenses and manage operational costs efficiently.
