Job summary

Excellerate JHI seeks a Centre Manager to optimise trading opportunities, leasing activities and the portfolio's financial performance within a retail environment. You will manage staff, service contractors, repairs, tenant installs, inspections and general building administration.

The role requires experience in retail centre management, with strong budgeting, contract and vendor management skills, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. A Fidelity Fund Certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification and 3–5 years of relevant property/centre management experience.
• Must hold a Fidelity Fund Certificate and meet PPRA requirements.
• Experience in retail shopping centre management, supervision, leasing and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and expense control, building management and administration, and facilities maintenance.
• Oversee tenant installations, lease negotiations, marketing of space and renewals.
• Coordinate management pack preparation and attend management meetings with Finance.
• Monitor income vs. budget, follow up on rent arrears, and manage SLA relationships with vendors.
