Job summary

Clicks Group Limited is seeking a frontline team member to securely handle sales transactions, operate the POS, and promote clubcard memberships at the point of sale. You will deliver friendly, efficient service and maintain accurate cash handling and merchandising standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, promotions, and upselling while ensuring a positive customer experience and adherence to store procedures and values.

Qualifications

• Basic maths calculations
• Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotions principles
• Understanding of stock management procedures
• Knowledge of customer service excellence
• Desirable: experience in a customer facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment

Responsibilities

• Efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment, including actioning clubcard rewards.
• Ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
• Promote Clicks' clubcard and enroll new members to meet participation targets.
• Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and ensure customers feel good and pay less.
• Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador, being visible and professional.
• Maintain merchandising standards and general housekeeping according to store guidelines.
• Support the Group's vision to be the customer's first choice health and beauty retailer by living the company values.
