Job summary

TradeOn is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Montagu, Western Cape. The role starts with structured training at KFC Montague for six months, progressing to full RM responsibilities across a portfolio including Montagu and later Bredasdorp.

You will lead shifts, manage costs and coach teams to deliver CHAMPS-compliant service. The position requires supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment, strong coaching skills and the ability to interpret reports and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Grade 12 / Matric.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in QSR, retail or hospitality with ability to lead large teams and manage multiple shifts.
• Proven coaching, mentoring and succession planning skills.
• Ability to interpret P&L statements, manage budgets, control labour and other controllables.
• Proficient with MS Office tools at beginner level.
• Strong understanding of CHAMPS, food safety, health & safety compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach teams to meet CHAMPS standards and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Forecast, schedule and allocate staff to balance costs and business needs.
• Manage day-to-day operations focusing on sales growth, efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure safety, health and hygiene compliance and maintain brand standards.
• Address customer complaints promptly and escalate unresolved issues.
• Maintain a clean, well-maintained and welcoming restaurant environment.
