RESTAURANT MANAGER

Large; Upmarket Casual Dining Restaurant | Cape Town Southern Suburbs

Salary: R40,000 - R50,000 per month

THE OPPORTUNITY

A large, busy and well-established upmarket casual dining restaurant in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs is looking for a strong, experienced and highly capable Restaurant Manager to join the management team.

The successful candidate will work closely under the General Manager and must be capable of independently managing a very busy restaurant operation while maintaining consistently high standards of service, staff performance and guest satisfaction.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Minimum 8 years' restaurant management experience
• At least 2 years' experience in their current/most recent management position
• Experience managing a large, high-volume establishment
• Experience in a similar Restaurant Manager role
• Confident managing the restaurant independently
• Exceptionally well presented and well spoken
• Strong leadership and staff-management abilities
• Able to remain calm and organised under pressure
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, service standards and daily controls
• Stable employment history
• Strong, contactable references
