Job summary

Recruit for Africa in Cape Town is hiring a Restaurant GM to take full operational ownership of a landmark premium casual dining launch at Mouille Point. You will lead pre-opening, recruit and train front-of-house teams, and establish brand standards to ensure a flawless opening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as General Manager in premium dining or high-volume openings.
• Proven track record of managing full P&L, margins, and budgets.
• Hands-on leader who engages on the floor with guests and staff.
• Strong local market awareness and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to work hospitality hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-opening and setup for the October grand opening.
• Own the venue's P&L, drive revenue, and monitor costs.
