Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative and energetic Resort Activities Coordinator for a beautiful Mossel Bay resort. You will design and execute a diverse program of activities for all ages, expanding guest engagement and memorable experiences.

Responsibilities include planning daily activity schedules, coordinating with departments and vendors, promoting events, and managing budgets while maintaining safety and resort standards.

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in event planning, recreation coordination, or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for engaging with diverse groups of people.
• Creativity and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement a daily schedule of diverse resort activities, including sports, games, crafts, and evening entertainment.
• Coordinate with various resort departments, external vendors, and entertainers to ensure seamless execution of activities.
• Promote activities to guests through various channels, including welcome packs, resort signage, and digital platforms.
• Manage activity budgets, track expenses, and report on program attendance and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and engaging manner, adhering to resort standards and guest expectations.
